Services

Engine, brakes, suspension & more

Mobile mechanic help for suitable jobs, and workshop repairs for the bigger ones — across Pretoria and Johannesburg.

Core repairs

Repairs & diagnostics

Not sure which one you need? Describe the symptoms in the enquiry form — that’s all we need to start.

Workshop

Engine repairs & rebuilds

Oil leaks, overheating damage, misfires, low compression or worn internals. We assess the engine’s condition first, then quote a repair or rebuild scoped to what we find. Major engine work is done through the workshop.

Mobile or workshop

Suspension repairs

Knocks over bumps, clunks, uneven tyre wear or a vehicle that wanders. We check bushes, ball joints, shocks, control arms and linkages, then quote the parts and labour needed.

Mobile or workshop

Brake repairs

Squealing, grinding, a soft pedal or a pull to one side. We inspect pads, discs, drums, calipers and lines and check component condition before quoting any work.

Mobile or workshop

Diagnostics & fault finding

Warning lights, rough running or faults that come and go. We read fault codes where our diagnostic tools are compatible with your vehicle, then test to find the cause. A code points the way — it doesn’t automatically name the part to replace.

Mobile

Mobile mechanic assistance

For suitable jobs we come to your home or workplace in Pretoria or Johannesburg. We’ll tell you upfront if the job needs the workshop instead.

Workshop

Workshop repairs

Bigger or longer jobs are booked into the workshop by arrangement. Workshop visits are by appointment, Monday to Friday.

Servicing & maintenance

Keep it running right

Routine work done properly, so small problems don’t become big ones.

Mobile or workshop

Minor & major servicing

Oil and filters, spark plugs and the scheduled maintenance that suits your vehicle and its mileage. We’ll note anything else we see and ask before doing more.

Mobile or workshop

Cooling systems

Overheating, coolant leaks, radiators, thermostats and water pumps. We look for why it’s running hot before replacing parts — and stop driving it if the gauge is climbing.

Mobile or workshop

Battery, starter & alternator

Won’t start, slow cranking or a battery that keeps going flat. We test the starting and charging system and replace the part that has actually failed.

Workshop

Clutch replacement

Slipping, juddering, a heavy pedal or trouble getting into gear. We assess the clutch and related parts and quote the replacement and any related mechanical repairs.

Workshop

Timing belts & water pumps

Replacement at the recommended interval or when there’s a problem — subject to the engine-specific tools and capability your engine needs. We’ll confirm before booking.

By arrangement

Small business fleets

Maintenance and repairs for light vehicles and bakkies used in your business, with scheduling and terms agreed per customer.

Mobile or workshop?

The right place for the job

Mobile is convenient. The workshop is better for heavy or lengthy work. We’ll recommend the practical option for your vehicle.

Often suitable on site

  • Minor and major services
  • Brake pads, discs and many brake repairs
  • Battery, starter and alternator faults
  • Many suspension parts
  • Diagnostics and fault finding
  • Cooling-system leaks, hoses and thermostats
  • Breakdown assessment

Usually workshop work

  • Engine rebuilds and major engine work
  • Clutch replacement
  • Timing belts that need engine-specific tools
  • Jobs that need a lift, a press or several days
  • Vehicles that aren’t safe to work on where they’re parked

Whether a job can be done on site depends on the fault, your location, safe access, working conditions and the equipment needed. A diagnostic code helps guide the investigation; it doesn’t automatically identify the component that needs replacing. We’ll confirm before we come out.

Quotes & pricing

How quotes work

We don’t publish fixed prices, because the right price depends on your vehicle, the fault and where the work happens. What you can expect:

  • Labour, parts, travel and any assessment charge shown separately.
  • Applicable tax shown on the quote.
  • Assessment and travel charges confirmed for your area before a visit.
  • No extra work without your approval.
  • Replacement parts carry the applicable supplier warranty; workmanship terms are confirmed with the quote.

Service questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you come to my home or workplace?

Yes, for suitable jobs in Pretoria and Johannesburg. Whether a job can be done on site depends on the fault, safe access, the working surface and the equipment needed. Tell us what’s happening and where the vehicle is, and we’ll say whether a mobile visit makes sense.

Which areas do you cover?

Pretoria and Johannesburg. Travel charges depend on where you are — ask us to confirm the travel charge for your area before we arrange a visit.

Can every repair be done on site?

No. Servicing, many brake and suspension jobs, battery and charging faults and a lot of diagnostics can often be done at your location. Engine rebuilds, clutch work and jobs that need a lift, specialised tools or several days are better done at the workshop. We’ll recommend the practical option.

Is the assessment or call-out chargeable?

Ask us to confirm the assessment and travel charges for your area before arranging a visit, so you know where you stand before we come out.

How do I request a quote?

Send a WhatsApp or use the enquiry form with your vehicle’s make, model and year, your area and a description of the problem. Photos or a short video help. Some faults need an assessment before we can give an accurate quote.

Will you ask before carrying out extra work?

Yes. If we find something beyond the agreed work, we’ll explain what we found and what it will cost, and only go ahead once you’ve approved it.

Can I bring my own parts?

Please ask us before you buy. Whether we can fit customer-supplied parts on your job — and what that means for warranty — is confirmed per job.

Can I arrange a workshop appointment?

Yes. Workshop visits are by appointment, Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00. WhatsApp or call us to arrange a time.

Do you offer 24-hour breakdown call-outs?

Yes — we’re on call 24 hours for breakdowns in Pretoria and Johannesburg. Call 082 553 9268. Attendance and response time are subject to availability and your location.

For a breakdown, please phone rather than WhatsApp — messages may not be seen straight away. The workshop itself keeps normal weekday hours.

What warranty applies to replacement parts?

Replacement parts carry the applicable supplier warranty, with coverage and claim terms confirmed for the parts supplied. Labour, call-outs and workmanship are covered by separate terms, which we confirm when we quote.
